A bit about me and my collection
I first started collecting whisky miniatures in the summer of 1995 after finding an empty one on a beach (and yes, I do still have this empty bottle in my collection). My collection was packed away and just added to for many years until in 2011 when it finally found a suitable place to be fully displayed in our home. Although I do generally collect most Scotch (both Malts and Blends) I also specialise in Whisky Welsh Whisky (and spirit or liqueur) Miniatures.
I have a relatively small collection of general Scotch whisky (a mix of various Single Malts and Blends) of around 700 miniature bottles as well as over over 110 Welsh miniatures.
Although I collected miniatures for many years I only actually joined the UK Mini Bottle Club in 2011. It was later in 2013 that I became the club Competition Officer and was also elected onto the Executive Committee of the club in the same year. I am the Welsh spirit specialist and have produced a number of articles for the club newsletter on the subject.
My interest in whisky miniatures is solely the collecting of miniature whisky bottles with different labels and bottle shapes/colours. Because of this I have not included any tasting notes in my site but I will included a little bit of history and information where I know it or have been able to find it out.
If when you are browsing through my photos you have a Welsh miniature that you are willing to part with that I do not currently have in my collection then please do contact me (even if it is an empty bottle with a tatty label).
